Controversial US-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation Concludes Aid Operations
The disputed, US and Israel-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) declares it is terminating its aid operations in the affected area, following nearly half a year.
The group had already suspended its multiple aid distribution centers in Gaza subsequent to the ceasefire between Hamas and Israel was implemented six weeks ago.
The organization attempted to bypass the UN as the primary provider of humanitarian assistance to Gazans.
